Principal Statement: The Central School is a small rural school conveniently situated 1km from Castleblayney. It is a Co-Educational school under Presbyterian management. Our building has 2 classrooms, a learning support room, kitchen and sports hall. We also have a nice playground with a small football pitch and a school garden where we grow our own vegetables. We participate in many activities such as football coaching, dance lessons, swimming lessons at Monaghan Leisure Centre and fiddle and tin whistle lessons with the Ulster Scots.
