Our school is a medium sized school, co-educational and multi-denominational.
Our motto “Saothar le Sonas” or “Working Together in Happiness” encapsulates the ethos of our mission statement. The school has an excellent track record in academic achievement across a wide range of subjects with an average of 80% of its students receiving 3rd level offers each year. The school also has a proud record of achievement in sport, music and drama. The school recognises the importance of partnership between teachers, students and parents in helping the students to achieve their potential and become responsible citizens. |

The school operates a comprehensive programme in adult education during autumn and spring terms. The school opened a new ten-room extension in 2000, which included a computer suite, library, woodwork, art, canteen, biology lab and general subject rooms. It is planned to build a new sports hall, home economics suite and eight new classrooms in the next few years. A wide range of extra-curriculum activities takes place, catering for a broad range of interests. |
