Gaelscoil Lorgan is an Irish-medium co-educational school situated in Castleblaney. All school subjects with the exception of English are taught through the medium of Irish. English is given exactly the same amount of teaching time as in any other primary school. Irish is the primary language of communication within the school. All areas of our Irish culture are treated with special regard within the school and we endeavour to instil in the children a love for our music, dance and games. Religion and its teaching are integral parts of our school life and the children are prepared for First Holy Communion and for Confirmation.
The Gaelscoil offers a Curam Iarscoile which is an after school facility which parents may avail of. It is open till 5 daily.

We are an Irish medium pre-school for children aged between 2yrs 8mths-5 years. We are located in the same building as Gaelscoil Lorgan behind Lidl,off the Monaghan Road.
We open Monday-Friday 9-12.30. The naíonra can cater for up to 20 children with a staff ratio of 1:10. We are community based and a non profit making group. We follow the high scope approach.
Cúram Iarscoile
Gaelscoil Lorgan has aCúram Iarscoile service where the children can remain after school. This service operates till 5pm daily during the school
