Scoil na gCailini is a Senior Girls School, built on a hilltop overlooking spectacular view of Castleblayney. The school is housed in a building, which will be a hundred years old in 2012. Due to the fall in vocations, School na gCailini which was formally a mercy run school, is now entirely staffed by lay people. However, the school maintains close links with the Mercy Sisters, especially those living on the same campus, who are ever ready to lend a hand. |

Scoil na gCailini recently held a very busy Energy Awareness Week, during which the children learned all about Energy Conservation, through the medium of lively games and exciting experiments. Our annual fund raising “knit it” is being held on Monday 18th October. This is always a fun filled night and raises lots of money for the school. Well done children! |
